Our world and the earth breathes in us.

“For most of history, man has had to fight nature to survive; in this century he is beginning to realize that in order to survive, he must protect it.” ― Jacques Cousteau

Few things are more important in our style of worldschooling than the relationship with earth and the importance of protecting our environment. We believe that being eco-conscious with simple green practices during our camp is a valuable lesson on taking a responsible approach with the planet. We include practices of basic permaculture and fun agriculture activities that teach our young explorers the symbiotic relationship with Mother Earth.

We provide a safe place for creative exploratory freedom and a place where all children can connect with Mother Nature and become aware of the responsibility we have to protect her.

We truly believe that traveling is about having fun while you explore the world and other cultures. However, the journey of exploration should be done in a responsible way and this includes sustainable travel practices.

We make sure that the programs we provide  respect the environment with green practices. We also  make sure that our impact on the people and the local economy is handled in a responsible and fair manner.  Ultimately, the idea is to leave a positive footprint behind us in Antigua Guatemala and ideally, through the whole world in general.

We believe in the importance of the natural approach and we believe that plants can be our teachers. Knowledge is power and we want to empower our young global explorers by practicing methods of herbal preparations like infused oils, salves and herbal soap. Being able to name a few native herbs and ways in which they can support us is a life skill and also reminds us all of the importance of having a relationship with our planet.

We are believers of the creative freedom of exploration, and if guided properly, its a winning formula to empower kids.

As Guatemalan travelers we know what is best to experience and we believe in true local interaction and learning through cultural immersion.

Another component in our hubs and camps is our physical level of activities and games. Our goal is to always exercise daily during fitness activities and active games.

Active Lifestyle

Food gardening is a very important activity during our hubs, as part of our focus on sustainability. Our team is dedicated to providing young explorers with  rich hands-on experiences that emphasize the importance of healthy sustainable living, exploring new cultures, and being stewards of the planet. With a range of eco-courses and activities, we aim to instill in each explorer, a love of learning and exploration that will last a lifetime.

We want to be part of  a global community that is aware of the importance of honoring the planet and takes an active roll in  protecting and  supporting  all life forms.

We base our principles in the  respect for oneself,, each other and the Earth. Every little change we make towards the benefit of our planet is of great significance.

We feel it is our responsibility as adults to share these principles with the young.
